Welcome to DeadPixel Studio. Below you will find the licensing terms for the artwork generated on this platform, as well as our standard terms of service.
1. Licensing Policy
The type of license you hold depends on whether you are using the free preview versions or have purchased a high-resolution export.
Commercial License (Purchased Exports & PRO Members)
Upon purchasing a high-resolution export or maintaining an active **DeadPixel PRO** subscription, you are granted a perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the images for:
- Commercial Projects: Websites, apps, advertising, and marketing materials.
- Physical Prints: Posters, book covers, album art, and merchandise.
- Digital Media: Social media, video backgrounds, and streaming assets.
- Client Work: You may transfer the final design to a client as part of a larger project.
PRO Status: Pro members enjoy these rights for every image generated and downloaded during their active membership period. Even if you cancel, you retain the license for all images previously downloaded.
No Attribution Required: You do not need to credit DeadPixel Studio.
Free License (720p Previews)
Images downloaded for free (preview resolution) are licensed for Personal Use Only.
- Allowed: Personal desktop/mobile wallpapers, private collections, internal testing/mockups.
- Social Media: You may post free exports on social media IF you provide visible credit to DeadPixel Studio or link to deadpixel.app.
- Not Allowed: Any commercial use, client work, or selling the image.
Prohibited Uses (All Licenses)
Regardless of the license type, you may NOT:
- Resell as Stock: You cannot sell or redistribute the raw image file itself as a stock photo, wallpaper pack, or digital template on marketplaces (e.g., Shutterstock, Etsy, Adobe AutoStock).
- NFTs: You may not mint purely unmodified DeadPixel exports as NFTs. (Significant creative modification is required).
- Hate Speech: Use the artwork in connection with content that promotes violence, hate speech, or illegal activities.
2. Terms of Service
Software Availability & "As Is" Warranty
DeadPixel Studio is a web-based generative tool. We provide the software "as is" without warranty of any kind. While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we cannot guarantee the site will be available at all times. Computational rendering depends on your local device's hardware capabilities.
Satisfaction Guarantee & Refund Policy
We want you to be 100% satisfied with your high-resolution exports.
48-Hour Guarantee: If the quality of your 4K or 8K export does not meet your professional expectations, you may request a full refund within **48 hours** of purchase.
Subscription Refunds: Monthly and Yearly PRO subscriptions can be refunded if requested within 48 hours of the initial charge, provided no high-resolution exports have been made during that period.
To request a refund, please contact support through the link below with your receipt number.
Intellectual Property of the Tool
While you own the specific images you generate and purchase, the source code, algorithms, and design of DeadPixel Studio remain the exclusive property of DeadPixel Studio. You may not reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the underlying software.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
